About Our Chapter

We are one of eleven chapters of Phi Beta Chi National Sorority. Phi Beta Chi was founded on March 26, 1978.

Psi colony was established on the University of Minnesota campus in the fall of 2011 and became Phi Beta Chi - Psi Chapter on March 28, 2015. We have built our sisterhood so that we may help each other become strong Christian leaders.  We are here to support our women socially, academically, and spiritually.

Our core foundation is built upon the Three C's:

Church | Chapter | Community

Our Lutheran heritage is held close to our hearts as a sorority.  While we do not require our sisters to be a member of any denomination or religion, we are committed to serving the Christian church as well as our community.

We strive to be living representatives of the ten petals of our creed.

Psi Chapter Mission Statement

We are a group of collegiate women from all walks of life who come together to gain new experiences, form personal relationships, and grow and develop as individuals through the practice of our three C's - Church, Chapter, and Community.
